In Centre Services

Creative Therapy Respite Services are provided in-centre, offering a structured environment that encourages socialization and the development of group skills. At this time, all services are delivered on a 1:1 basis, ensuring individualized support tailored to each child's needs.

Trained Support Team

Our respite team has undergone specialized training tailored to support the unique needs of children and youth. Each team member has experience working with children and is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. Additionally, all staff have completed a criminal background check to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.

Creative Therapy is excited to launch this new service for families in Thunder Bay! At this time, we are beginning by accepting referrals for children ages 4-12 who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.

Due to the high volume of calls and our limited availability as a small company, we are unable to answer or respond to inquiries about this service. All families must complete a referral form through this page. Once your child’s spot is secured, we will reach out to arrange a formal intake and discuss the next steps for starting services.

Please note, as we launch this new service we are currently only able to accept children meeting the following eligibility:

Children with a primary and/or secondary diagnosis of Autism are eligible

Child must be comfortable and be able to be successful in a group environment

Maximum 1:1 support is available for children- children requiring 2:1 support please email

Cost is $55/hour as services are provided in centre
