WHAT TYPES OF EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACHES DO WE OFFER?

At Creative Therapy Associates we recognize that each child is different and has a unique profile.  Since each child is different, we realize that there is no “one size fits all” approach and therefore we offer a variety of evidence-based services to our clients and their families.

Our therapists will work closely with families to identify goals and create a plan that integrates the services that will be most effective for them.

We provide a variety of behavioural and developmental therapies that are listed below.  All Creative Therapy Associates programs are eligible under  Ontario Autism Program.

Our Social Skills Groups help children build confidence, friendships, and essential social skills through fun, structured activities. Using evidence-based strategies, kids learn turn-taking, conversation skills, emotional regulation, and problem-solving in a supportive group setting.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY

Speech therapy supports children in developing communication skills, including verbal speech, language comprehension, social interaction, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), to help them express themselves effectively in everyday life.

At Creative Therapy Associates, we offer diagnostic assessments by a multidisciplinary team, including our Clinical Psychologist, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapist.

PARENT COACHING

Parent coaching and training is available with our Registered Behaviour Analyst to allow parents to follow through with therapy goals in the home-based environment.
